Rev Sandra Butler

Transitional Ministry Specialist

Rev Sandy, as she likes to be called, is a fully ordained Unity Minister who is specially trained as a transitional ministry specialist through Unity International. During her time at Community on the Hill, she will be working directly with the congregation to help expand our consciousness and prepare us for a full-time minister. In addition to providing messages at our weekly services, she’ll be holding workshops and classes for the congregation to help us grow individually and as a congregation. She’ll also be offering and overseeing SEE and other classes for the congregation.

Rev Sandy comes to Community on the Hill after completing eight months as the transitional ministry specialist at Unity of Columbia (Missouri) in 2015. Many of us have enjoyed her messages as a guest speaker at Community on the Hill over the past several years. Prior to becoming a transitional ministry specialist, Rev Butler served as the Interim Senior Minister at Unity of Fairfax.

Rev Sandy will be keeping hours at the church building office, which is located to the right of the sanctuary’s stage at St Luke’s, our new home. She’d love to visit with you and get to know each and every member of our congregation.

Board of Trustees

Trustees of our board are volunteers who are members of Community on the Hill. They each serve a two-year term on a rotational basis. Elections for the board are held at the annual membership meeting on the first Sunday of November. Please feel free to contact any board member with suggestions, questions, praises or concerns. An open dialog is a vital element of a loving relationship and we welcome all input.

Licensed Unity Teachers

Our Licensed Unity Teachers (LUTs) ably serve and support our minister and ministry. LUTs have successfully completed all of the required courses offered in the Spiritual Development Program as well as all of the required Leadership courses.
